New Zealand Alpine Garden Society Show

The NZAGS is a dynamic club aimed at horticultural excellence, sharing skills and a love of small, alpine, woodland and bulbous plants. 

Canterbury Horticultural Society 

A venerable institution with 160 years in the making and right up with the play today, offering classes and groups covering all that is interesting in gardening.

Canterbury Horticulture Society  Daffodil Show

The CHS Spring Show at the 2024 Botanical Expo showcases a special daffodil section full of exquisite and rare blooms.

Small Specialist Plant Sellers

Many skilled growers have surplus plants from their sowings of the rare and unusual.  Come and discover hidden treasures not found anywhere else. 

Garden Clubs + Open Gardens

Garden Club displays and Garden Trust gardens. Selwyn has a wealth of gardens to visit and gardeners to learn from.

Canterbury Floral Art Design 

A super group of artists who use flowers, all parts of plants and a huge variety of other materials to make thrilling displays. Clubs involved are Avon Floral Art, Floral Art North Canterbury and Cheviot Floral Group. 

Botanical Expo Event - Christchurch

  • At only $5 entry it is a bargain to see the displays and browse the plant and gardening stalls.
