What's happening
Programe
At this stage the programe is not available, but as things get finalised we will update this page. There will be several workshops, and a guest speaker. It will be a good idea to plan your visit if you wish to take advantage of the workshops. The shows add a great spectacle with waves of golden daffodils, NZ native plants, alpines, bulbs, orchids, shrubs, rhododendrons, cacti and perennials all on display
Plants to buy
Early birds will get the pick of the plants at the stalls, but there are always plants left and often the best ones get overlooked. Some may not be in flower but ask the stall holders and they will find you the perfect special plant. Think Waldenia in the hot and dry spot by the letterbox or beautiful trailing plants like Verbena cardinals, daffodil bulbs to order, speciality iris, charming rhododendrons, fritillaria bulbs for the connisseurs.
Workshops & Demonstrations
The CHS and NZAGS will be putting on workshops, hypertufa, seed sowing, vegetable growing, gardening for children to name a few at this stage.
Other stalls
Gardening books, Life and Leisure, Garden Clubs, stall holders welcome to see if space is available.
